MUSIK + X February 17 - March 19


“musik + X” invites you on a tour through the music genres, scenes and subcultures of Germany. The exhibition presents current pop and rock stars, rappers and DJs from Munich to Cologne, from Frankfurt to Jena. Some have made it to worldwide fame, many are still regionally rooted; all of them stand for pop culture from Germany.

ONE-YEAR GRANTS FOR GRADUATES


Scholarships are awarded to students from British or Irish universities to study or research at Master's level at any institution of higher education in Germany. The scholarship is tenable from 1 October 2011 to 31 July 2012.

CALLING ALL ENGLISH NATIVE SPEAKERS

PAID SIXTH MONTHS INTERNSHIP AT A LARGE PUBLISHING HOUSE IN HAMBURG



This successful cooperation between Gruner + Jahr Wirtschaftsmedien (who have taken over Financial Times Germany) and the DAAD London is running in its fifth year. It offers a unique opportunity for English native speakers to teach English as a foreign language at the G+J Wirtschaftsmedien offices in Hamburg as part of a six months work placement. Successful candidates will work as an internal one-to-one language trainer for staff who would like to improve their language skills. The curriculum shall be arranged according to the individual staff member’s needs.
