Calling all undergrad or postgrad students of German




Project-Related Part-Time Job with the DAAD London Office

The German Academic Exchange Service’s London office is currently looking for a undergrad or postgrad student with native-speaker competence of English and very good German skills, starting at the earliest possible date. The project will comprise of updating the online database Germanistenverzeichnis.de – a joint initiative of the DAAD and the DGV (Deutscher Germanistenverband).

The student will research data, establish contacts to academics at British universities, collect data, follow up on contacts and update the database. Working hours are flexible and work is possible on a part-time basis, with more hours needed in the beginning to get the project going and less time needed in the later phases. The estimated total duration of the project is roughly two months. Upon completion of the project, the student will receive a compensation of 900.- Euro.

Applicants are kindly requested to mail their CV and a short cover letter to Christian Strowa (strowa@daad.org.uk), indicating from when and for how long they would be available.
